A: No, this part of Utah experiences mild summertime temperatures. You can expect mornings to be in the 50's and daytime
temps to be in the 70's and low 80's. This may be the best place in the west to ride in summertime.
A: There is less than 8000 ft of climbing in 200 miles on the Desperado Dual. We consider it to be a double century of moderate
difficulty. Make no mistake though this ride is no cruise. It is a scenic and challenging course which you will enjoy very much.
A: You will be travelling at elevations ranging from between 6000 to 8500 feet with most of the ride taking place below 6500 feet.
Most people coming up from lower elevations find that they can do well at this altitude.
A: There are no bike shops in Panguitch. You will find well stocked shops in both Cedar City and St. George. Please come prepared with
all you need or plan on stopping in one of these locations. Some supplies and services will be available at the check in area.
