Frequently asked questions:

How are the roads and the traffic?
A: We have good rural roads in Utah, with excellent room for cyclists. There are always a few rough spots however so watch for any road hazards. Traffic is usually light, consisting mostly of tourists and local ranchers.

Can I start the ride earlier or later than the official start time?
A: We will have a mass start at 6:30 am for 200 mile riders while the 100 mile mass start is at 7:00 am. 200 mile riders can start anytime between 5:30 am and 7:00 am but fast riders who start early may outrun the event support. Event timing and rest stop opening and closing times will be based on the mass start times. Riders who start outside the mass start times will not get accurate timing. Please plan on starting at the designated time to avoid arriving early or late to a rest stop. There will be starts allowed after 7:00 am!

What kind of sports drink or gel product will be provided?
A: Tastes vary greatly in this area. We will be providing product samples from our sponsor Hammer Gel and additional Hammer products will be out on the course. If you prefer a specific sports drink or energy product for the ride please plan on bringing enough for your own needs.
